By accessing and using TAKGRID services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
TAKGRID provides two types of services on a subscription basis:
Cloud-based server hosting specifically designed for tactical communication systems, including TAK Server, MediaMTX, Mumble, and Node-RED installations. You receive a dedicated virtual private server (VPS) with full root access and complete control over your server configuration.
Shared access to a managed TAK Server for teams and individuals who don't need dedicated infrastructure. Seat subscriptions provide:
Privacy and Isolation: While seat users share the same TAK Server infrastructure with other teams, each seat is completely privately isolated. Your credentials, data, and communications are fully separated and inaccessible to other seat users. Only your team can access your seat's data and mission information. The shared infrastructure provides cost efficiency while maintaining complete privacy between seats.
For dedicated hardware resources and full server control, consider a dedicated server subscription.
Your Privacy: SSH keys are encrypted at rest and accessible only to our automated systems. No human access to your servers via SSH is possible - all operations are performed exclusively by automated scripts. We do not access, view, or monitor your application data, communications, or user-generated content. You maintain full ownership and control of all your data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We use cookies solely for session management and user authentication purposes. These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of our service and are not used for tracking or advertising. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties except as described in this policy or with your explicit consent. We may share information with service providers who assist us in operating our services.
Dedicated Servers: New users may access a free 6-hour demo of dedicated server services. No payment information is required for the demo. Demo servers are automatically terminated after 6 hours.
Shared Seats: New seat subscribers receive a free 48-hour trial period to test the service. No payment information is required for the trial. Trial seats are automatically terminated after 48 hours.
IMMEDIATE TERMINATION: If you decide to cancel your subscription, your server and all associated data will be terminated immediately upon cancellation. This process is irreversible and no data recovery will be possible after termination.
If payment fails, we will attempt to process payment again. If payment continues to fail, your service may be suspended or terminated after appropriate notice.
You retain ownership of all data you upload, create, or store on your TAKGRID servers. We do not claim any ownership rights to your content.
TAKGRID Automated Access: TAKGRID maintains SSH administrative access to your servers exclusively for automated service provisioning, system monitoring, and platform operations. SSH keys are stored encrypted in our database and are accessible only to automated systems and scripts. No human access to your servers via SSH is possible - all operations are performed exclusively by automated scripts. This automated access is used solely to deliver and maintain our services. We implement appropriate safeguards to protect your data and privacy.
Your Access: You receive full user-level credentials to your provisioned servers and applications. You are responsible for securing your credentials, managing application configurations, and maintaining your data.
While we strive to maintain high availability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. TAKGRID shall not be liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.
In no event shall TAKGRID be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
TAKGRID's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to TAKGRID in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
